We loved the warm welcome and generous and kind care we received from Em, we loved the location and the food was good too. Also loved the happy good morning we received each morning from the cleaner, what a hard working smiley fellow he is!

Very difficult to rate. Almost nothing worked (air-con, TV), lack of an ensuite, toilet doors didn't lock and there were visible needs for repair. I imagine the hotel is heritage listed and the cost of undertaking an extensive sprucing up would be prohibitive. I did like the period look to the place. I chose it for this reason as well as its proximity to Central Railway and the Belvoir theatre.

Rooms are beautifully decorated, fantastic location, nice bed sheets and pillows. Two floors up from pub entry (enables privacy from patrons).
